CHALLENGE

My husband decided he wanted a pinky ring for his birthday. Why? Your guess is as good as mine.

SOLUTION

As a jewelry aficionado, going off-the-shelf was a no — it had to be something special. I intertwined our initials to make a logo, which I had laser engraved into a sterling silver signet ring. As it happens, this ring can also be used to make wax seals and brand leather (cue the fancy party invites and personalized Moleskine journal covers). I further spun off the logo into a letterhead, address labels, and even a custom door knocker. Maybe I'll get our dog a new tag next.
